Tokyo Love Soap Pure Girls

Tokyo Love Soap Pure Girls

I recently heard Tokyo Love Soap Pure Girls from a friend from Japan. She send me one as a gift so I can try it. At first I really don't know how to use it but she send me this link where I can purchase Tokyo Love Soap to read the instructions since the box has a Japanese instruction and to order in this website also.

On the first use, honestly I can't see any difference myself. But when my husband asked me, why did my skin lighten, I was impressed. Actually I took a picture of my skin during that time for me to know the difference. On the next day, I was excited to take a bath and to take a picture of course.

I specially love the smell of this soap. It smells like fresh flowers and my husband really loves it. He even wants to use at times. After using it for a week, that's the time that I saw a great transformation of my skin. My skin is looks softer, smoother, whiter and dark spots was gone. After a month, I can't even recognize my own skin. I saw a huge change in my skin. My skin pores are smaller, my body hairs looks softer, and my skin tone is now even.

When my husband recognized the changes on my skin. He secretly bought me a bulk of this soap. And he told me that it is cheaper when you buy it in bulk. When you buy them in 1 box you will get 25% discount + 10 free soaps, that's very cheap.

I highly recommend trying the soap out and buy it only from authorized sellers such as Tokyo Love Shop http://www.tokyoloveshop.com/.

LUSH Starter Kit Series: Shower Gels & Jellies

LUSH Starter Kit Series: Shower Gels & Jelli

Of course, anybody that’s anybody knows about Snow Fairy shower gel, and yes, that has got to be my all-time favourite Lush shower gel, but it is limited edition, so I’m not going to include it in this post. Even though I already have. Oops!
Alrighty then, let’s get started!
Now, as I said in my soap post, I am quite a big citrus person. Like, I-suck-lemons-when-I’m-bored-because-I-like-the-taste-and-I’m-not-even-joking-you big. Yeah. So, obviously, my favourite shower gel (from the year-round ones, at least) is Happy Hippy. Yum! It’s not your typical lemon-orange citrus scent though – it’s so much better than that! The main scent you get from this is a sweet-yet-sour grapefruity type thing, and it’s gorgeous! It’s perfect for first thing in the morning, and is my ultimate wake-you-up kind of smell. It’s also one of the thickest shower gels they sell, so you need less of it then some of the others, and it lathers amazingly!

REN Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream

REN Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream

REN Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream (15ml Sample Size)*

Samples have to be the greatest form of exploration when it comes to beauty and skincare. If it wasn't for samples that i've acquired from some place or the other (beauty boxes, magazine gifts, gifts with purchase etc) I wouldn't know about or use half the wonderful products that I do now. What with natural and organic skincare and cosmetics being quite pricey, samples give me the perfect way to test out a product before I commit to spending my money on it for a full size.

Among others, REN samples have to be among my most prized and coveted samples of all.

This little tube is exactly why i adore REN products and why I love trying samples before I buy.

Ouidad Review

full disclosure press sample disclaimerouidad-wave-create-review-620x693
Are you getting tired of these I’m still alive, I swear! posts? If everything goes according to plan (because we all know by now that everything always goes exactly as I plan, yes? Deviations from my life path do not exist), this should be the last time I have to use that phrase for awhile.
Fall launches have begun surfacing all over the internet lately, but I’m not quite done with summer beauty just yet—it’s the one season where I feel reasonably justified rolling out of bed, swiping some lip balm on (I’m currently obsessed with this one) and calling it my ‘effortlessly undone look.’ But since none of you need me toteach you how to put zero effort into your appearance, I’ll also share this little trick with you: beach waves.
Lately I’ve been using the Wave Create Sea Spray ($23) from Ouidad, which does a magnificent job at pulling waves out of nowhere, all while making my hair smell like coconut and the vaguest hint of tropical fruit. It’s not one of those formulas that will make your ends die upon contact either, mild enough to leave hair looking tousled and soft rather than stiff and crunchy.

My true love, though, is the Texture Taffy ($23), a product so delightful I have to wonder why no one came up with this earlier. It’s a cross between a thick cream and a liquid taffy, like strong-hold wax with a bit of ‘stick’ to it. Used in conjunction with the spray, it helps tease even straight hair into an appropriately beachy style, although you could certainly use either product on its own. It’s got the same light scent as the spray, and is so much fun to play with when you’re 5 years old at heart like I am. Fair warning: it does leave residue on your hands, so it may not be the best option for those on-the-go.

Sometimes the struggle of lifting a DSLR is just too much for me to handle. At least my hair looks good.
Scrunch it through damp hair, let everything air dry, then hit your roots with some dry shampoo. You’re left with the laziest, easiest semblance of a style ever.
If anyone still remembers this blog exists, let’s chat! What have you been up to lately? How do you feel about beach hair? Do you have a favorite sea salt spray?
xo,
MM

Claire's Splatter Nail Polish

Review: Claire's Splatter Nail Polish

Over the past few years, retailers like Claire's, Urban Outfitters and Forever 21 have been releasing dupes of various higher-end and indie brand polishes. If you happen to live close to one of these retailers, it could be a nice way to try a polish trend without having to order online.

One trend that doesn't seem to be going anywhere soon is the "black and white matte hex and bar glitter in a clear base."  I believe that the originator of this combination is an indie brand called Lynnderella with their polish Connect The Dots. Since then, I've lost count of how many alternatives are now out there now (both permanent and limited edition offerings), but I still can't seem to resist them when I see them "in the wild." So when I saw this version on sale at Claire's a while back, I couldn't resist:

Claire's Splatter Nail Polish
(retail: $6, 0.5 oz)

As those who shop at Claire's know, you rarely have to pay full price for their products. There are always sales and, as of the time of this post, this product is BOGO1/2OFF. This polish is available both in-stores and online

Vie at Home Natural Perfection Mineral Powder Foundation Review

Vie at Home Natural Perfection Mineral Powder Foundation Review

As you can probably tell from my previous reviews, it takes a while before I get round to reviewing a product after hauling it because I like to use a product for ages before I get my feel for the product to see if I like it. This product is no exeption.

I picked this up from Home Bargains a few months ago when I saw they had recently added Virgin Vie/ Vie at Home Products to their range, most retailing below £1.50 , this being £1, I thought that if they were any good they would be a great saving from their usually RRP and great budget alternatives to other products I own.

This Natural Perfection Mineral Powder Foundation was the first mineral foundation I have ever tried and after trying this I have definitely been converted.

Vie advises for this to be applied by lightly dusting a powder brush over your face in small circular movements to build up to your desired coverage. For me, the best brushes being my ELF Studio Powder Brush if I want a heavier coverage or my RT Blusher Brush if I just want a light dusting. The great thing about this foundation is that it is buildable and won't look like you are caked in makeup even with the medium + coverage it can provide.

For £1 I have been really impressed with this. It isn't cakey and for the most part doesn't cling to dry patches. Although at first I didn't think this would suit my NW15 skin, the colour blends in really easily to match my skin so don't be scared off by the colour in the packaging.

Speaking of the packaging, for £1 I am really impressed as the foundation comes in a pot with a screw lid adnd a sifter that is controlled by twisting the plastic stopper. It is really easy to use and isn't messy because of this so other mineral foundation manufacturers take note!

I tend to apply this over an under eye concealer, then follow with blusher, bronzer and highlighter and then set using my MUA Fixing Mist and I'm good to go! Following this I find that this will last for a good 5-6 hours before the natural-matte finish of the mineral foundation starts to look shiny and I need to blot using a blotting sheet or set again using one of my Rimmel Powders.

Overall I think that this is a great mineral foundation and especially for the price is a worthwhile addition to your makeup collection, in particular when you are having a lazy day and just want a dusting of coverage.
